Missions 2022 :: I’ll Go Anywhere - Why missions emphasis month?
Wednesday Oct 05, 2022
Wednesday Oct 05, 2022
Pastor Chris Andrews (Discipleship + Missions Pastor) - 1 Timothy 2 (1 Timothy 2:1-8; 2 Corinthians 5:18)
Why are we having a missions emphasis month? What is the basis for doing this? Why are we studying Faith Promise? The answer is simple...it is what God wants us to do and it is written in His Word.
Missions 2022
Jesus has given His church a mission to accomplish. Throughout October, we will be inspired, challenged, and blessed as we focus our attention on reaching the world with the gospel.
When it comes to the mission of preaching the gospel to every person in the world, what would God have you do? We are praying for our church family that every person would humbly tell God, “I’ll go anywhere.” God calls us to surrender to His priorities and re-arrange our lives for His mission.
Missions 2022 :: I'll Go Anywhere
Why missions emphasis month?
I. Three reasons to pray
A. So that we can continue to live for Christ in this world.
B. Our prayers for others is pleasing to God.
C. God desires everyone to be saved.
What is God's will for every person?
II. To be saved and know the truth
A. Saved from what?
B. Know what truth?
III. We sacrifice...
A. our energy and time
B. our money
C. ourselves / lives + priorities for God's will

Sunday Oct 02, 2022
Sunday Oct 02, 2022
Pastor Tony Liuzzo (Lead Pastor) - 1 Corinthians 3:21-23; 4:1-2
We are so blessed by God! As His children, God takes care of us! But this comes with a responsibility. We are to be stewards or managers of God blessings! We are “required” to be faithful with the blessings in our lives.
What does this mean? It means to be surrendered and ready to do and go anywhere that God leads us!

It can be fascinating watching a football team pull off a win in the final seconds of the game. In order to pull off a big play, they have to work together. Every member of the team must know and fulfill their role. The quarterback needs the offensive line to guard and the wide receivers to run their routes and be in their spots ready to catch the ball.Just like a football team, God has created the body of Christ to fill different roles. None of us are the same and this is on purpose. We are equipped with a Spiritual Gift that God uses in our lives to make a difference.Do you know your role?

Out of all the names for God that we use today, Father is one of the most common. It is so common to us that we almost lose sight of what made this name so significant. All of the names we have studied so far have been from the Old Testament. This is the first name of God that introduces the God of the Old Testament to the theme of the New Testament. It is a powerful name that ties our hearts to the heart of God.
Bible study description:
Knowing someone's name is the very start of getting to know someone. It is what we use to call out to someone to get their attention. It is how we identify someone.
Our God has many names. Each name of God reveals to us His character, His nature, and His attributes. Knowing His names brings us into a deeper relationship with Him because it allows us to know Him on a deeper level.
When we know His names, we can then call out to Him using His names. There is a reason that our God has so many names...there is power in the name of our God! Do you know our God by His names?

Pastor Tony Liuzzo (Lead Pastor) - Psalms 23 (Psalms 23:1-6; Isaiah 53:6; John 10:27; Proverbs 16:25)
It does not take much for us to get off track in life. We don't often feel like we are getting off track when we are. We feel as if, "I got this!" Then, we end up in a mess.
Psalm 23 describes our God as a Shepherd. He knows us well and He leads us through life. When we get off track, He finds us and carries us back to the flock. The Lord is our Shepherd! Do you know our God has Jehovah- Rohi?
Bible study description:

Games are often lost because the quarterback is sacked. The opponent takes him out of the game before he even has a chance to run the play. The quarterback relies on others to have his back! They are a team! They stand together! They watch out for each other because there are those ready to take you down.In life, who has your back? Do you go out of your way to have the backs of others? Jesus did and He taught the disciples to do this same. One thing is for sure in life, you can't do this alone!Who has your back?
BENCHWARMERS: Combating the lies that take us out of the game!
