Welcome to the eleventh and final episode of our summer teaching series, Discipleship Deep Dive. Today, Pastor Tony, Pastor Chris and Pastor Matt will be answering questions that have been submitted throughout our teaching series. Questions being answered include, "Do infants that die go to heaven?", "How can I know when I am filled with the Holy Spirit?", and "If after salvation our sins are forgiven, do we have to continue to confess our sin to God?" Each answer will be supported by Scripture and reinforced with practical illustrations!
This series is for everyone who wants to deepen their commitment to God and His Word!
"Q&A: Answering Questions About the Christian Faith"
1. If when we are saved God forgives all our sins, do we need to confess our sins to God anymore?
2. If Jesus was God in the flesh, who was he talking to when he asked if it was possible for him to pass the cup from him?
3. Even though the original scriptures came from God, and were inspired by God, the Bible has been revised, with many different versions throughout history. Would this process also be considered inspiration?
4. Do infants who die go to heaven?
5. Is there such a thing as the “age of accountability”?
6. If the filling of the Holy Spirit is not a one time thing but happens many times over the life of a believer, how can I know when I am filled with the Holy Spirit?
7. Is it ok for Christians to observe communion in their home and not in the context of the local church?
8. Will we remember our lives and relationships when we are in heaven?
9. If baptism does not save us, what does 1 Peter 3:21 mean?
