Have you known people that have grown up in church, lived out the Christian life, had obvious fruits of the Spirit in their lives, and then they fall away from God. I know this happens for a number of reasons, but we must acknowledge one of the obvious ones.

Paul, in I Corinthians 5, explains how people take subtle steps, in their lives, that end up leading to major problems. Are we aware of this danger? Are we making this same mistake?

Good news! Paul not only warns us, but teaches us how to make this right in our lives.

Purge out of your life the wrong kind of friends (influences)

A. we are to reach the lost

B. we are to confront the saved that are slipping

C. we are to remove fellowship with those that refuse to get right
