Missions 2022 :: I’ll Go Anywhere - Blessed!
Sunday Oct 02, 2022
Sunday Oct 02, 2022
Pastor Tony Liuzzo (Lead Pastor) - 1 Corinthians 3:21-23; 4:1-2
We are so blessed by God! As His children, God takes care of us! But this comes with a responsibility. We are to be stewards or managers of God blessings! We are “required” to be faithful with the blessings in our lives.
What does this mean? It means to be surrendered and ready to do and go anywhere that God leads us!
Missions 2022
Jesus has given His church a mission to accomplish. Throughout October, we will be inspired, challenged, and blessed as we focus our attention on reaching the world with the gospel.
When it comes to the mission of preaching the gospel to every person in the world, what would God have you do? We are praying for our church family that every person would humbly tell God, “I’ll go anywhere.” God calls us to surrender to His priorities and re-arrange our lives for His mission.

Sunday Sep 25, 2022
Sunday Sep 25, 2022
Pastor Tony Liuzzo (Lead Pastor) - 1 Corinthians 12 (Psalms 139:14; 1 Corinthians 12:1-7, 15-18 & 22-23; Romans 12:4-8; 2 Timothy 1:6-7)
It can be fascinating watching a football team pull off a win in the final seconds of the game. In order to pull off a big play, they have to work together. Every member of the team must know and fulfill their role. The quarterback needs the offensive line to guard and the wide receivers to run their routes and be in their spots ready to catch the ball.Just like a football team, God has created the body of Christ to fill different roles. None of us are the same and this is on purpose. We are equipped with a Spiritual Gift that God uses in our lives to make a difference.Do you know your role?
BENCHWARMERS: Combating the lies that take us out of the game!
Finding your role!
LIE: "I can't really make a difference!"
Some things we all need to know concerning spiritual gifts:
I. There are different spiritual gifts.

Games are often lost because the quarterback is sacked. The opponent takes him out of the game before he even has a chance to run the play. The quarterback relies on others to have his back! They are a team! They stand together! They watch out for each other because there are those ready to take you down.In life, who has your back? Do you go out of your way to have the backs of others? Jesus did and He taught the disciples to do this same. One thing is for sure in life, you can't do this alone!Who has your back?
BENCHWARMERS: Combating the lies that take us out of the game!
Who's got your back?
LIE: "I can do this by myself."
Jesus taught us that you need:
I. People to share life with you!
"Don't wait for the valleys to get connected."
II. People to be real with you!

We are victorious through Jesus Christ! Right? We say this all the time, but are we? Sometimes we don't feel this way because sin seems to be winning in our world today. Could it be that we feel as if we are losing because we are not embracing all that God has for us.You can't win games from the bench and you can't win battles from the sidelines. We are not called to be benchwarmers, we are called to be warriors!
BENCHWARMERS: Combating the lies that take us out of the game!

Pastor Tony Liuzzo (Lead Pastor) - I Corinthians 7:1-5 (Ephesians 5:25; Genesis 2:15-16, 18 & 23-24; 3:9; Revelation 21:2; 1 Corinthians 7:1-5; John 3:16; Proverbs 5:19; John 10:10)
If God is part of something, it is going to grow in strength, passion, and purpose. When God created His creation in Genesis, He said, "it is good!" Everything that God made was good and should prosper. This is just as true with marriage. Marriage should not just exist, coast, or "be ok," they should thrive! Paul has addressed a number of issues in the church through the book of I Corinthians, now he speaks into marriage. You might be surprised to hear what Paul has to say about marriage.Christian marriages should be different...they should THRIVE!
DIFFERENT: Because normal isn't working!
We believe that marriages should thrive!
How marriages thrive:
I. Embrace God's design for marriage
A. embrace your different roles in marriage
B. embrace the value of your differences
C. embrace what it means to be "one flesh"
II. Meet each other's needs
III. Exercise the gift of intimacy

Have you known people that have grown up in church, lived out the Christian life, had obvious fruits of the Spirit in their lives, and then they fall away from God. I know this happens for a number of reasons, but we must acknowledge one of the obvious ones.Paul, in I Corinthians 5, explains how people take subtle steps, in their lives, that end up leading to major problems. Are we aware of this danger? Are we making this same mistake?Good news! Paul not only warns us, but teaches us how to make this right in our lives.
DIFFERENT: Because normal isn't working!
We don't mix right and wrong.

C. we are to remove fellowship with those that refuse to get right

Do you like to lose? Of course not! Nobody likes to lose. There are certain areas of our lives that the enemy is gaining ground and winning victories, but can we see it?

Something that the world craves to have is peace. We desire to have that inward rest in our hearts. Paul explains to the church in I Corinthians why they were missing peace in their lives. They lived in a "do what you want" / "do what feels good" society and this mindset and lifestyle was creeping into the lives of God's people. This robs us of peace because it goes against God's way and God's plans. We will hit on some deep rooted spiritual issues that have overcome our world today. If you are looking for peace and true joy, then we have to confront some things that are robbing blind of God's blessings.

Pastor Dave Liuzzo (Lead Pastor, Thrive Church) - 1 Timothy 4:12; Romans 12:10; 1 Corinthians 9:16; Hebrews 10:24-25; Mark 16:15
Throughout life we learn a lot. We learn things we should do and we should not do. When it comes to Church there’s a lot to be learned.
After 14 years of full-time ministry at Fellowship Baptist Church, Pastor Dave Liuzzo would like to share "Some Things I’ve Learned.” Each of these things he has learned are applicable for us as Christians in everyday life. Are you ready to learn?
Some Things I’ve Learned1. I have learned that a pastor is more than a shepherd, he’s a mentor.2. I have learned that the church is more than people, it’s a family.3. I have learned that ministry is more than a job, it’s a privilege.4. I have learned that loving people is more than words, it’s action.5. I have learned that giving the Gospel is more than just speaking truth, it's a step of faith.
